As soon as Douglas is let out of his crate he makes a mad dash for his food bowl. You better hope nothing gets in the path between him and his food bowl because it might not be the same afterwards. (Kylee made this mistake once, but she is still alive to tell the tale. I am just kidding.)
Anyways, after his food has been completely inhaled Douglas will look up at you with a look of that is all. I sometimes place his food in his Kong so that his food lasts a little longer than one swallow. He gets so excited that food will roll out when he pushes and paws his Kong.
You should see how he can get that toy flying around the apartment in order to get everything out. Once he sees there is no more food or treats to be had, the Kong is history though. Then it’s on to the next great thing.
