Douglas: No Adventure is too Big

Douglas had no idea what adventures lay ahead of him on our walk today. (I didn't either) Our walk started out normal until I decided to go check out the nature trail off West Braddock to spice things up a little. Spice things up; it definitely did. We came down the trail to a tree that had fallen down on the path.

Douglas had no fear about how he would get around this tree. He actually stuck his head straight into the hole to check everything out. He went right under the tree without hesitation.

With Kylee it took a little more motivation. Douglas made sure to give her moral support and went back under until she army crawled backwards under the tree. (Douglas can convince Kylee to do more things than I can.)

At the end of our walk we came to the frozen pond filled with ducks. I think this was Douglas' and Kylee's favorite part. Douglas enjoyed watching all of the ducks from his vantage point while Kylee pointed at the ducks and quacked.

If only Douglas could get this close to a duck without them swimming away. Maybe one day Douglas if you are willing to be sneaky and swim through muddy water, you won't only have to dream about them.
