Jake & Charlotte: Top Doggie

Jake and Charlotte had more adventures this past weekend. Thankfully, they were a little less muddy and wet this time around since there was no big storm this weekend.

Jake and Charlotte were put to the test again by Kylee. They had to endure giving kisses to her favorite lovey (horse) so that they could get passed her and go on their walk. Kylee was just set on the idea that everyone must love her horse as much as she does. Charlotte had a hard time not stealing the toy from Kylee, but she controlled the urge.

What does one Charlotte and one Kylee loose in the backyard on the brick patio equal? More than I was expecting. Charlotte has taken a liking to using the brick patio area as her favorite bathroom "hot spot" lately, instead of the shredded bark. Well, this time I was not fast enough at picking up Charlotte's presents before Kylee stepped in them. Yummy, doggy poop boots. Nothing quite like it to add to the joys of children. :)

Visits were made to the local dog park where Jake and Charlotte soon found out who really could be the top dog in that neighborhood: Saint Bernard. You should have seen the size of him! (Sorry Meatball, this guy definitely took the cake in size and weight.)

 

Thankfully, Jake and Charlotte figured out quickly that he was all bark and slobber, no bite. Jake also learned quickly how to outmaneuver this giant; run between his legs. It was pretty entertaining to watch.
