Today Murphy had a surprise visit from his best pal Snoopy. He was so delighted to see him that he just could not wait to get out of his crate.
Once Murphy was let out, everything was a blur of black and brown for about the next 5 minutes as Snoopy and Murphy raced and wrestled with one another all over Murphy's apartment. You should have seen the couch cushions after they were done playing. They were all over the floor. (Kylee did not help much either by getting them even more excited and pushing the cushions off as well.)
There were some pin downs made by Murphy where Kylee and I did not think Snoopy was going to make it out. But almost always at the last moment he would find some way to squirm out and take off before Murphy realized that he was gone.
They still had energy to burn off even during our walk. The competitive spirit was higher than ever. Snoopy and Murphy kept trying to out walk one another and if one seemed to be going faster, the other would attempt to sprint to make it into the lead. Overall, I think they enjoyed playing together. (They both now will walk straight to one another's home if the other's name is mentioned. Pretty cute.)
