Jake & Charlotte: Rain or Shine

We started off our weekend with an afternoon visit to the local dog park, Utah Dog Park. Surprisingly, even with the nice weather, not too many dogs and their humans were there. We thankfully got there at the right time because by the time we left Jake and Charlotte had the whole place to themselves. Jake met a black lab mix that wore him out due to all the chasing games they played. Charlotte even met a poodle mix that shared her name and her passion for tennis balls. They both had fun running side by side chasing after their balls.

These two walk die-hards did not let the little thunder and lightening storm stop them from their evening walk. We lucked out with having the rain stop right before we actually began our walk. Some of the lightening we saw was pretty amazing. Charlotte was a little worried here and there when she saw the lightening flash and thunder boom. She was not a fan of the idea of becoming the next fried hush puppy.

Everyone was excited to get going on our walk this morning, especially since the day started out so warm. Jake and Charlotte kept looking back at me when I was trying to take a picture of everyone before we started on our walk. They were probably wondering what the hold up was all about. Sorry guys, I am a little slow sometimes.

We ended the afternoon with another stroll in the nice weather and lunch. All the birds were out and about today and Charlotte made sure to take notice of this. For most of their walk, Jake and Charlotte had their head in a bush and all that remained was a wagging tail. Kylee made sure she did not say her good-byes until Jake and Charlotte had been given a "special" treat she had brought just for them. Enjoy your week with your parents Jake and Charlotte!
