Murphy: Curiousity

There is a large, (really large), air conditioning vent over by the route we take daily during Murphy's walk. This vent is raised off the ground, but surrounded by a grass area, a sidewalk, and a dirt path. You can get to the dirt path without getting at least a foot close to the vent.

Murphy, being the curious type, has had no problem at all with walking past or even along this vent. He is usually the one that is sticking his head into it and trying to get the best look at what could be down in there. Well, yesterday he had a little different perspective of this vent.
It was actually on for the first time. We have been doing walks around this area for almost a year and have never encountered this fan working before. Man does that fan have power! We watched leaves shoot straight up into the air from it. Murphy did not notice anything different at first until he peered over the vent and received a face full of wind and leaves. He enjoyed watching the leaves shoot up and tried to chase any stray leaves that came in his area, but he wanted nothing to do with walking past this fan.
Murphy received a luxury taxi service down the sidewalk past the fan vent so that he could continue on his walk. (So me carrying Murphy might not be considered a luxury ride, but he received a good scratch afterwards to reward him for his bravery.)
